So I re-watched the turn Vanessa died, and it's Speedy's own fault. He chose to send Vanessa in on low HP for a 54 Hit attack, with a Javelin, against a Fighter. He could have healed her with Natasha first, but didn't (yes, I'm aware the goal is getting Natasha closer to recruit Joshua, but maybe we shouldn't needlessly endanger Vanessa on the same turn, then, hmm?). He could have chosen to let Eirika, who has the better weapon triangle matchup and Vulneraries, may I add, handle it. If she died, it would be Jae's loss, not his (yes the Game Over would lose stream time, but it's early in the chapter). Now, Link COULD have had Colm finish the Fighter off instead of baiting Joshua. But as Speedy was not obligated to try to save Eirika, Link was not obligated to try to save Vanessa. And he did try to take one of the Fighters out, but missed a display 92. Now, onto Jae. He backs Eirika out of the way and uses a Vulnerary, giving the enemies an extra space to attack Vanessa from. And he openly says, "We need two chances for Vanessa to die here." Then chooses to not have Garcia attack with a Hand Axe. Same as Link, he is not obligated to try to save Vanessa. So to recap. Speedy - willingly put Vanessa into a bad position. Link - Made some attempt to bail her out, but missed the attack. Jae - Actively made Vanessa's situation worse by freeing up a space in case the first Fighter missed. Conclusion - Saying Link killed Vanessa is a complete gaslight. Putting ANY of the blame on Link for Vanessa dying is just dishonest. Saying Link should have done more to try to save her is avoiding responsibility for Speedy's misplay. Thank you for time if you read this little rant, and have a lovely week.

53:12 I agree with Link here, almost half of the deaths have been directly Jae's fault (Vanessa, Neimi, Lute & Kyle) whereas Link has only killed Joshua and Marissa, and while killing Joshua as revenge for Raven was petty, it isn't worse than the shit you 2 have also pulled (seriously you have been tag teaming him this entire run), also killing Marisha was actually the better move here because 8 pegasus reinforcements spawn in after recruiting her Edit: 58:56 And now not even 5 minutes later Jae is bargaining with Gerick's life

I have this same game on an original GBA cart with the original box & manual, so I have played it, but I haven't beaten it. So, thanks for showcasing this part of the game I've never seen before & have a great Sunday.

So another reason why I wanted to track kills was because I wasn't sure if you wanted to keep the kills for when the lord dies since you're keeping the points from before they died, so I'll be putting kills as without lord death/with lord death. Kills Jae: 65/74 Speedy: 29/30 Link: 56/58 Points with kills added Jae: -1/0 Speedy:-2/-1 Link: 45/45

It’s more hilarious the way it devolved but I think you guys got through the first attempt of chapter 6 if you committed to the cavs and protected Natasha after she heals Gilliam. Healing Gilliam and eliminating the Iron Blade cav+bottom javelin cav means you all probably survive the turn. One of Artur/Lute has to be mildly in danger, and Garcia has to trade Eirika out of the rapier or rescue her to guarantee her safety, but it was definitely possible.

I really don't get Link's vision here working out the "plan" with Jae in Chapter 5. Like it he screwed Speedy over but Jae is so far ahead that it just feels not worth it, even considering pettiness with Raven. With Jae I fully understand it, it's a win-win situation there. Then 5X right after was even more brutal. I just feel like 5X would have been enough pettiness but that's just me.

Blocking the Village where Lute was, just gave Speedy Karma for the rest of the stream lol
